Ever tries to convince her that she doesn’t have an eating disorder, which leads to Sabine asking to meet Damen.Įver starts to miss Riley, but pushes the feelings aside when she picks up Miles. Damen leaves just before Sabine comes home and talks to Ever about her possible anorexia. They start making out, but Ever stops it from going any further than that, which is becoming a pattern in their relationship. I'm not all that invested in the characters, I'll probably read the third one, but it won't be on my priority list of things to read.ĭamen is teaching Ever how to master her abilities. I can't really say that this was an improvement over the first one. It seems like parts of it were taken from other things that I have read/watched in the past and just thrown into a blender. but it didn't really seem all that original. I guess it was an interesting enough ending. So I had to go back and skim over the end of the book to see what the heck happened. I remember thinking "Why am I reading this?" and "Why am I still reading this?" But it was a quick read and It kept me entertained enough on a night when I just wanted to escape my world and live in someone elses. I read this book a couple of weeks ago and to tell you the truth, I don't really remember much from it.
